I’m a long time fan of Minerva’s since I moved to Fort Myers from Fort Lauderdale. I meet the nicest people there, enjoy the music on Friday and Saturday, and the food is the very best! You like soup? The BEST I had the opportunity to visit the kitchen this evening and after owning my own restaurant I have to say you could eat off of any surface in that kitchen. That’s HUGE. The rest rooms are equally as clean. If you want to have fun, eat well, and drink some great cocktails in a neighbor friendly atmosphere you shouldn’t miss Minerva’s. You can meet Minerva at the door most times and say hello to George after he has prepared the finest cuisine night after night.

Brought a dear friend here on a quiet Sunday evening...off-season...to celebrate her birthday! The place was dark inside...my daughter held her cell phone light so we could read the menu. The place is run down which could be a reason for the dim lights. A chair at our table was falling apart. We asked the waiter to light the oil lamp on the table...yes, we actually had to ask him....we blew it out 20 minutes later because the oil smelled bad. Radio playing from the bar and sports blaring over a TV close to the waiter's station...sports on every TV. No music for dining. The bread was cold and 4 slices for a party of 3...not fresh baked. Probably purchased from Costco's freezer or Publix next door. We tried chicken tortilla soup instead of a salad because it was raining outside. The waiter said he had just eaten a bowl and it was outstanding....it was good, but nothing that excited us. My friend ordered Veal Marsala with rice pilaf. She liked it. My daughter and I shared a blackened chicken fettuccine alfredo. It was very garlicky and the chicken was sparse. We paid $4 for maybe one boneless breast of chicken at best...and $2.50 because we split the meal and dirtied an extra bowl for someone to wash. 2 waters for my daughter and I (slow to be filled and then the guy took a glass away and never brought it back so we shared the one glass), and an ice tea for my friend. No Happy Birthday sung to my friend or even a complimentary scoop of vanilla ice cream...The bill was a very proud $53.77. Seriously....Olive Garden even has you beat! Service, quality, prices, atmosphere, attentive wait staff and reasonable prices for their meals. Well, Minerva's.....we gave you a chance. You weren't even that hospitable. Sorry we interrupted your sports program!

CLASSY AND AFFORDABLE!! When you walk into Minerva's Bar and Grill you will be surprised by the upscale table accoutrements and stylish chairs. You can sit in the well stocked bar area or at one of the fine dining tables. With a full food menu and drink menu to select from you will be content to know that your selections will be fresh and expertly prepared. The fajitas I ordered from the lunch menu were up in 20 minutes and sizzling hot. They aroma was rich with grilled onions, tomatoes, jalapenos, peppers, mushrooms, and chicken. Service is friendly and courteous and fast. Prices were about $14 for the meal. Excellent value. Treat yourself!
